READING (Book of your choice) + Q&A (30 min.)
In this session, the author reads one of her books (your choice) and then she proceeds with a short session when kids can ask anything about the book, the author, or the book writing process.
OPTION 2
Visiting the Amazon Forest with
"Omar, el jaguar"

The author reads her book “Omar, el jaguar” and then they “travel” to the Amazon Forest discovering animals and learning about them and their environment.
The digital package includes the book, the educator’s guide (with ten lesson plans, printables, guiding questions, and assessment charts), and vocabulary cards. All in pdf. version.
OPTION 3
READING of "Guillo, el armadillo"

The author reads her book “Guillo, el armadillo” and then guides children on a craft making an armadillo bracelet.

OPTION 4
Interview the author! (Grades 5-12) (45-60 min.)
In this session, students get to interview the author about her home country, Uruguay and the process or writing and illustrating a book. Students can plan the questions ahead of time or improvise. The author will bring realia such as photos, maps, and other traditional products of her home country.
