Stories Make Language Feel Real

Children don’t fall in love with vocabulary lists.
They fall in love with characters, adventures, and moments that make them feel something.

That emotional connection is what makes language stick.

Cuentacuento creates Spanish stories designed to spark imagination, curiosity, and confidence — so children don’t just learn Spanish… they experience it.

Bring stories to

your classroom

As both an author and a teacher, I design author visits that are interactive, age-appropriate, and connected to classroom learning. My sessions invite students to explore stories, culture, and creativity through conversation and play.

About the author

I am glad you are here! I am Andrea, a children's books author and illustrator, a teacher, a storyteller, and mom. I've spent more than twenty years teaching Spanish in bilingual and multicultural classrooms. Over the years, I saw the same challenge again and again. Students disengaged and overwhelmed by traditional language learning. Everything changed when I began teaching through stories. Students became curious, participative, and excited to learn. Cuentacuento was created to help teachers bring that same magic into their classrooms — easily and confidently.
